Long day. Up at 7 am, picked up Tracy at 11:30, came back home for the boys - great drive - Whiskey goes in the crate from now on! Orson was a bit chatty and Jazpurr was a prince as always. Headed to Mum and Dad's and hung out there until 5pm (pit stop at bulk Barn).
Off to the airport. Tracy got "thoroughly" searched - lol. Realized we had to change planes in Montreal and we weren't sitting even close to each other. Spoke to a nice lady, she fixed us up. Puddle jumped to Montreal and then the long, uncomfortable, haul to Dublin. 2/4/2 seat layout. We were in the middle. Landed - YaY we're here.
AirCoach to RTE stop and realize it is incredibly scary to cross roads here ! They even write on the roads at the cross walks "look left" "look right" ! Arrived at Donnybrook B&B at 12:30 GMT - we've been up 24hrs now . . . Basically was handed a key, shown to the room. No info or help at all. Crawled into bed and the noise began. Very loud, none stop banging - they are installing new carpet. No sleep for me. Up and out at 5:30. Roary (a different person working - cute boy) was wonderful and helpful.
We took the Dart €4 ea (after a long walk with a bit of backstepping - missed a turn) and a long delay on the train to Trinity College. Wandered to Grafton St. (people are so friendly and helpful! Two women asked to help us because we were looking at a map).
Searched for an Irish pub and ended up having a great meal at a Moroccan restaurant - go figure !
Cabbed it back for €12 - the fare was actually 13.40 but because they are so nice here he would only take 12 !?!?
Nighty Night xox
