Ireland - Day 3 - Dublin to Arlow

Up and out of the Donnybrook by 10:45. Breakfast same as yesterday - only a small tiny bit of 'coffee'

The lad gave us the bus fare because 'we are grand' heehee

Walked up to the city bus stop . . . waited, watched buses go by and not stop . . . A fella stopped to take a picture of something and noticed us - he informed us that we need to wave down the bus ! We would have been waiting a really long time - nice people !
On the city bus with our packs . . . a fella sat beside me (I managed to get my pack on the floor). He tried to talk to me . . . I could not understand a word he said ! Long, awkward silence . . . He tried again - I understood a bit more this time . . . he was asking where we are going and then told me everything I needed to know (because I was feeling a bit lost) - nice people !

Got off just past the Pearson Station, walked with our packs for about 20min to the bus terminal. On the bus to Arklow . . . Wifi - fun ! Get off in Arklow, driver gets off the bus to try to point us in the right direction to our guesthouse - nice people !

Make our way to the Valentia House (houses have names, not numbers) Meet Dierdre and she gave the run down on getting to Cork . . .  Not going to be easy but hitchhiking might be our best option ! Don't think Tracy will do it :-(

Lots of walking, my feet are killing me.

We booked our room for Cork and Tracy went for a walk while I looked for rooms for the next few nights.

Out we go walking more to get dinner . . . we wandered past a few kids along the river and they were 'playing' with fire (literally)  - the place we had dinner was high up over looking said river and about 30min later a bush fire had started - dumb kids.  5 firemen showed up !  Only 1 was working on the fire (with a bucket and getting water from the river !) The other 4 were just watching - pretty funny to see. While we were having dinner a funny guy chatted with us and then called me a fekking witch (in context it was very funny - something about my reaction to the big game that was on)

In for the night.
Nighty night xox
